FloFET™ is an proprietary analog circuit which manage to create both harmonics and general transient behaviour one would expect from tube circuits. Only without tubes and without transformers. This way we can enjoy that wonderful, subtle but not subtle tube pillow, but in a new iteration. Same cozy feeling of lending body and flow to the sound, but completely without tubes. Without tubes which are no longer made to their fullest quality today compared to the great tubes of old. Without tubes which always make for maintenance. The great feeling of that tube pillow, yet not a tube or worry in sight. A new way through the forest.
All of our own capsules have been 100% hand made in house from the start of producing them. For the first time now, the capsule parts that also used to be machined in house are made in a small local factory to our exacting specifications, enabling us to scale up and bring our microphones to an entirely new and huge segment of the recording world. The quality is not going down, but the amount of work hours per capsule is. And yes, they are still assembled, skinned and rigorously tested by hand entirely in house.

Yes, we really do. We use DHL Express and the postage is included in the purchase price already, no surprises.
We offer a full no questions asked return policy within 30 days of receiving the microphone. All you need to do is pay the return postage. So you could also think of it as being able to demo a mic for the cost of return postage from anywhere in the world.
Yes, we do indeed! Music students and tutors as well as music institutions get a discount on all our microphones. All you have to do is email in two documents that show you are a student or staff at a Music College and we will send you an educational discount code.
It is its own thing, related to the 100K (same D100K capsule), but with a significantly more mix ready, modern voicing. And the really big difference is the new FloFET circuitry. This lends it a texture, dynamic behaviour and glow reminiscent of a tube mic, whilst it is a transformerless FET. And the cardioid behaviour is pretty specific and special in so much that the top half is very wide cardioid and has an unusually long reach, and the bottom end is more supercardioid and also reaches out to collect ‘the meat’ rather far. So in general, voiced for a little more distance from source than many other modern mics.
